Mike Thaler visits Kaufman Elementary!

Today we had a special guest visit from author, Mike Thaler. He is most well-known for his "Teacher from the Black Lagoon" series. There were LOTS of students wearing yellow shirts today in honor of his visit and also because his favorite color is yellow. He shared some very funny stories with us and drew some AMAZING pictures. We enjoy getting visits each year at Kaufman from different authors and illustrators and hearing how much they love to write and draw. I think we may have some future authors and illustrators here in 2nd grade at Kaufman!
