On Friday we had a special visit from one of our Assistant Principals, Mrs. Twilla!  She taught us a cool new way to think through math word problems with a problem solving lesson called "Poster Math".  I was so proud of how our class worked so well together in cooperative groups to solve the math problem she presented them and how everyone participated!  Way to go Mrs. Shaw's class!

We also did another cool experiment on Friday in science!  Since we started learning about properties of liquids this past week, I thought it would be fun to try making a mystery soda!  We went through the steps of the scientific method as we did the experiment.  The students got to taste test our soda and they all had their opinions on how it tasted!
